06 Sep Modern robotics today
The modern robotics took his first steps in society back in the seventies, when the world of robots and the world of men were still two distinct and separated realities. Then, the robots worked in isolation to ensure safe work even for the workers and the workers, on their side, they carried out their duties regularly, away from the robots.
Over the years, however, this separation slowly began to decrease, up to a society like the contemporary one, in which robots have completely integrated into the world of men.
This is how modern robotics is born, as we now understand it: robots and highly technological machinery that can complement or even take over man tasks that were previously his operational expertise (including interacting with other human beings – or with other robots). To date, in fact, more and more sectors rely on modern robotics, to the point where they can no longer do without.
There are so many contexts where modern robotics are actually applied and often they may be unexpected: let’s see together which ones. One of the areas in which modern robotics has certainly taken over is Home Automation, that is, household automation: here the robots significantly simplify the lives of men, automating every room in the house (from the bathroom to the kitchen, through the bed and sofa). Another area, however, where robotics has taken giant steps becoming almost vital is certainly the biomedical field, where robots are able to assist surgeons during operations or even allow them to perform remote surgical operations.
