The year 1996 arrived and, after several years as a reference point in the production of handling systems, Uteco decided to invest again and expand its range of action. After careful analysis, it decided to invest in the acquisition of a company that already had the necessary skills and had the same territorial footprint that characterised the Modenese company. Uteco Contec was thus born.
